Probably
the most difficult part of being an assassin is knowing your allies. For
this reason we have issued the rings.
To identify yourself to another member show your ring casually. I would recommend something to the effect of covering your mouth while you yawn, showing the ring in the process. When among a group of peers it is polite to remain ungloved. As some forms become known to those on the outside we will adopt new standards.
